In 2007 Pioneer Construction helped our family plan an addition that satisfied our many needs. More room for our two girls, a logical footprint between bedrooms, bathrooms, and laundry room, and most of all an outdoor living space that is the focal point of the whole house. We are very happy in our new space and thankful for such great cooperation from Pioneer Construction.

I have had the pleasure of working with Pioneer Construction on two occasions and have been totally satisfied. In the first encounter I solicited bids to reroof our church building (Blaine United Church of Christ). Pioneer owner, Bill Faust, was extremely helpful in the process and subsequently submitted the low bid. The job was completed on schedule and within budget and professionally installed.

Based on the above experience, when my neighbor and I decided to replace our cedar decks with composited material we naturally solicited Pioneer. The end result was another on schedule exemplary Pioneer project. I have always found Bill Faust to be an up-front guy who is easy to deal with and totally honest. I’ve been working with Bill for over five years. He is really easy to work with. He is organized, talented and most importantly, calm! I have seen him take on projects from a bathroom remodel to new home construction, always with the end result being beautiful workmanship and happy clients.

Pioneer Construction Co. completed two major remodel projects on our home. One was the demolition of an old garage and the construction of two new garages and a utility room on the back of our house. The second was a major kitchen remodel. Our home was built in 1906 and we wanted to keep the architecture in tact with these remodels. We are well satisfied with the outcomes of both projects and found Bill Faust very reasonable to work with.

Once the design work was completed, Bill went over each phase of the project with us and gave us very clear written cost estimates for both materials and labor. He also orchestrated all the bids with sub-contractors and gave us clear written cost estimates for their work. He secured all the necessary permits from the city and took care of arranging all the inspections and making the necessary changes when appropriate. He was present when he said he would be and gave us a clear time framework when the different subcontractors would be present and working. Any changes in the projects that came up during construction, he would go over with us and clear estimates of the costs involved in both material and labor. He was clear about the amount of capital he required up front and the payment schedules during the construction. One of the things I appreciated was being involved in the projects. There were wood-working items I wanted to do and when the billing came, labor hours were subtracted from the bid for the hours I put in on the projects. I am pleased with the quality of the work, as well as, how well these remodel projects fit the architecture of a 100 year old house.

The Pioneer Construction Company assisted us in the selection of plans for our new home. They helped us map out a time-line for the work and completed the construction of our new home on schedule.

Pioneer Construction was prompt, efficient, flexible and communication with us regarding where they were in their work. As each new phase of work began, we were asked (as necessary) for our input. As each phase was concluded, we were asked for our perceptions and comments. We were extremely pleased with the friendliness of Pioneer Construction workers and the quality of their workmanship.

Bakerview Spur Lumber Company has done business with Pioneer Construction Company since 1995. Mr. Bill Faust is the owner/manager and runs a good, solid company, which is financially responsible. Bakerview Spur has supplied Pioneer with many remodel packages over the years, and several of these have been very impressive projects.

As a supplier, we have occasion to meet some of Bill’s customers, and they speak highly of him. He knows how to handle problems on the job and how to keep his customers satisfied. When we recommend a contractor to one of our customers, Pioneer Construction is on the top of our list.

I have seen Bill progress from an eager young contractor to where he is now, owner of an accomplished building company with a continued bright future. Pioneer Construction Company is an excellent example of today’s best remodelers.

As an old hand at construction, I can tell the difference between the pretender and the real thing, and Bill Faust and his Pioneer Construction is the real thing. We just finished building a house here in Bellingham and it went very well.

It isn’t about promising that nothing will go wrong, it’s how you handle it when it does. Bill and his men had good, workable solutions and the end result is a thing of beauty, a joy to behold. My family is more than pleased with our new home. The downside never went down very far, and the up side is way up. One thing is for certain, I wouldn’t hesitate to use Bill and Pioneer again, and will at the next opportunity.
